Royal Tyrell Museum

In Canada when you say ‘dinosaur museum’ you think of the Tyrell. It’s the big one. And it’s deep inside the museum in the vast archives that we met Senior Technician Darren Tanke. The museum is along the Red Deer River. As you approach the town it looks like your standard prairie—flat fields of grain and jack pumps. But when you enter the valley it’s a whole new landscape. This is the Badlands. And it’s a geography like none other in Canada.
